  6. Hi Mel, I caught your shows on c&c today and have to say I loved the box demo; have it written down so tomorrow, whilst watching you again,(honest, I'm not a stalker ;-) ) I'm gonna have a go at making it. No doubt it will take me somewhat longer than you to do. I always try and catch your shows as you are so inspirational and I find that you explain things really well too. Best wishes, Theresa

  17. Hi
All I can say is wow. I had cricut as a Christmas present to myself and have been buying cartridges in sales up til now - had to buy four this afternoon on C&C - oh boy. My fingers are itching to play - just need to tidy some space for it all so I can play.
    Thanks for the inspiration

  21. Hello

I don't think you can get new books. However the cratridge will be on your Gypsy and you can see each shape on there. When you click on the feature buttons it will change the keypad overlay soo you can see each layer.
    Hope that helps

  22. Hi Have had two Gypsy's. One failed after 10 months (replaced?repaired) and then the second stopped working after 15 months. No help from C & C or Cricut. Not throwing any more money at them. Loads of people on the forums with just the same problem. So have loaded Craft Room, but can't see how I get the free Basics and Fonts. Can you help please. Sorry it seems such a negative post, but that is my experience.

  24. hi Mel, along with some of the others who have commented I'm also going to one of those who you are targetting with your mission. I have pulled my original (v1) Cricut out and it's on my coffee table. I've also pulled out my cartridges (George, Lyrical Letters, Celebrations and the Ultimate Creative Series Sampler) tomorrow I start to learn and I hope to make you proud lol x

  25. Hi Mel, love your demos on Create and Craft, I have just tried to cut a mask from some Doflex I bought before Xmas from Create and Craft. I used Cindy Loo cartridge and my Expression2, I put in a deep cut blade and asked for it to do 3 repeat cuts. At the end it hadn't cut through it though. I ever tried repeat last and did another 3 cuts but no luck, it wasn't even cut half way through. The Doflex is 1mm thick should I be using something thinner or am I doing something wrong? Best wishes Mair Wingfield

  27. Hi Mel
Just had delivered the Victorian Romance did not hear the blurb
on the cartridge only that it was on offer so just bought it before they sold out has just
arrived and No Book is inclosed only the overlay which
I do not use(expression 2)I thought it was a full cartridge
but it only has 50 designes which is fine but do you know
if it just cuts what is on the overlay or the cartridge
cover which means no shadow cuts is this correct no good
ringing C&C they will just say send it back if not happy
do not answers any questions unlike your youself thank goodness for you.hope days getting easier for you.

    1. Hello
I have just had a look in my cartridge and it doesn't come with a book. It mis just the shape and it's overlay which you access using the shift key. It is also better on the larger Cricut as it tells you on the back to cut some of the shapes at a larger size.
      Hope that helps
      Take care

  28. Hi Mel
thanks for the reply but I have no shift key showing
on my expression 2 after I loaded the cartridge only
    the images?
Also must tell you after your advice about the real size key I have
created a No of diff size Butterflies,2ladies Heads & one of the ladies with the flowing hair
also some swans and fancy circles
plus ass things from the Art Nouveau and items from the heart cartridge all thanks to you
if I make mistakes I just start again never thought getting
around would be so easy only things not keen on is the
very fancy letters on the Art Nouveau not very clear to make out.
Could I ask when you next do cricut expressions 2 could you
do something on how the 12x24 mats work do not understand why they show on the machines mat screen in 3 ways?
    Thanks
    Edith
