A Crafty Day

Good. Morning
So far so good. Not got into any trouble yet,
We spent yesterday painting our blank Kaiser products, although I must say that the distress ink refills stain them beautifully so I have done that on mine. today we are decorating them so lots of time to get creative.
It is a very relaxed event and there are samples for you to copy if you want to but you can also be left to do your own thing which is great for me.
I will try and get lots of pictures.

After getting lost in the services we finally got back to the car and have just arrived at the hotel!!!!!! just going to explore. Will keep you posted. you never know it may inspire me to do a retreat of my own!

hello everybody
Just thought I would tell you about the plans for my weekend. I am taking a friend of mine, Lynne to a kaisercraft retreat in Milton Keynes.We have just stopped off for a break and all I can say is it will be an adventure as Lynne is madder than I am so anything could happen!!!!!!
Will keep you up to date and hopefully take some photos so you can see what kind of mayhem we created.

Back and raring to go!!!!!!!

Good morning to you all
Firstly I want to say thank you once again for all your lovely messages of support. It really has been overwhelming but lovely to read them all and I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart.
Well, today I am back at work! There is still lots to sort out but I am starting all the prep for my April shows and I have some beautiful product to work with. We have brand new Stampavie stamps and Bo Bunny papers and embellishments. Hot off the Press, and papers from a new company to us..... My Little Shoe Box.
I can't wait to get all my stash out and emerse myself in it. I am sure many of you know how therapeutic crafting is and it will be lovely to spend the day colouring in.
Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine and still managing to fit a bit of creativity in too.

I just had to post a message to thank you all sooooo much for your lovely messages of support. I was totally overwhelmed by your thoughtfullness and it just confirms my belief that crafters are the kindest people ever!
For those of you who have also lost loved ones recently I would like to send you a big hug and lots of love and you too are in my thoughts.

A difficult time.

Hello Crafters
I have so many messages of concern as I have not been blogging recently. Sadly my Dad passed away on Friday after suffering a massive stroke. We lost Mum just over twelve months ago and they had been together for 60 incredibly happy years and I take comfort from the fact that they are together again once more.
Thank you for your patience, I am taking the rest of March off to get things organised and then I will be back!
