Heads up on my top tips

Hello Just been in to studio to prep my 3pm show and I have just seen the Floral Embellished cartridge!!!! Wow! Is all I can say it is absolutely fabulous. damask decor is back in stock too. They are definitely coming home with me!!!!! Enjoy Melanie xxx

    ordered.. Thanks for Tip as always.. Where can I get my cricut serviced??? I asked once before but few days after your comment so you must not have seen my question..
    I press unload paper and that stays on view and have to turn it off and then on again to use it again..
    Great shows keep it up..!

      The best thing to do is to email Kars. They are the Eurpean distributor and they may have somebody in the UK who repairs them.Let me know how you get on

    Dear Mel,

    Having watched you on create & craft demonstrating the Cricut (Pink & White) I decided to buy one, unfortunately having spent many hours trying the different settings with different paper & card I cannot get it to cut, it either tears the paper of does not cut at all, am I not doing something that you should be doing, I have downloaded the setting for various paper & card but to no avail.
    I am now in the process of giving up, please can you help?

      Hello
      I want you to put your speed on full your pressure on full and the blade depth on six and try cutting Morris card. It should glide through it. If it doesn't then please change your blade. I know you may have only just got your Cricut but unfortunately sometimes they come with a dodgy blade in them. If that doesn't work then email isupport@provocraft.com as you may need to change your machine.

      Please can you tell me what Morris Card is?
      I have tried searching on the internet and it doesn't come up with anything. I have looked on Create & Craft for replacement blades, does one blade fit all Cricut machines?

      It should say mirri card, not Morris. You can use the blades on any of the machines apart from the cake.

    Hi Mel, only managed to see the last third of your show today, but have a couple of your other shows recorded, I have been watching cricut for a while now, and I must say you make it look so easy, but I couldn't manage to think about spending so much money as I wanted expression 2, well I have managed to buy the anniversary one very recently from someone, I am really happy with it, but tried cutting some pearlised paper, and it scrunches up the very finest parts of shapes, do you think I've got the blade pressure wrong?, and could I also ask, although the machine is wifi, I haven't got an adapter yet, it does have a USB lead so if I connect it to my computer can I still download from craftroom, and could you tell me how to do this please, thanks for all your inspiration, Pammie

      Hi Pammie
      You can indeed use it wopithout wifi. To get the craft room, just google Cricut craftroom. I would advise you to remove your firewall and anti virus from your computer and then download the programme. As for the pearlised paper. Try it with your pressure on two and your blade depth on three and then if it still years then reduce your pressure and try increasing your blade depth. If you still cannot get it to cut then I will arrange for you to send me some and I will try it.

    Hi Mel PLEASE HELP lol i can not get my machine to cut paper either card is fine but paper rips i have put it on full speed and replaced the blade but no joy. I have lots of lovely papers i would love to use and lots of cds i would like to print backing papers from too. Any tips would be great. Thanks to you i have dug out the pens i bought over a year ago when i first got my cricut and i am going to have another go with them know i know how to get the cut in the right place. I love my cricut hope you can help with this and please please please tell c and c we NEED you to do an in the classroom with Mel show. Many thanks

    After watching your shows the past couple of days I decided to take your advice and play; what a fab eve I have had and am full of inspiartion for graduation cards for my classmates at uni.
    I tried to use the centrepoint function but couldnt get it to work can you possibly give me a few pointers so I have some idea where I may be going wrong.

    thank you so much for your kind compliments regarding my Noah canvas; I was really chuffed you showed it again today. I've also made a 20"x20" canvas of the alphabet with icons. Hopefully I'll send that in sometime.

    I don't know if this is where i contact you as i have sent an email to create and craft a couple of weeks ago and don't know if you received it. anyway, my problem is this, I want to get into scrapbooking but don't know where to start, I have a large family (5 childrens and 7 grandchildren) and thousands of photos!! I also want to make a scrapbook about my husbands army career ( he wears many uniforms not just the cammoflouge)

    Hi Mel

    I am thinking of buying the create and craft cricut machine but wonder if I should wait and buy the bigger version. Is the only difference the size of the cutting mat and not the quality of the machine. I love your demos and your passion for your crafts. Many thanks Alex

    Hi Mel,

    I hope you don't mind me getting in touch this way, it's just that I am at my whits end. I purchased my Gypsy and Expression machine from Create and Craft, August 2010 and this evening I've tried to turn my Gypsy on only to be greeted by a black screen and blue light, all my cartridges are linked to my gypsy. I know there has been a lot of problems with Gypsy's lately, so I've put off updating it so as not to be faced with these problems. I can't believe this has happened. Any ideas what I should do, I would be so grateful for your advice. Thanks Mel, xx vicki xx
