  8. Hi Mel,
I wonder if you could help me please. I have a Cricut Create, and since syncing with the CCR my machine has only worked once, but now will not work. That is to say it turns on OK but none of the buttons work, whether I am connected to the laptop or not. I just don't understand. I have updated the firmware, but all to no avail. I would seriously appreciate your input, and if you cannot help me, could you please point me in the right direction, e.g. a phone number. I went on the FAQ on Cricut website, but there wasn't a question to cover my 'problem'. Thank you Mel

    1. Hi Louise
It appears that there is a problem with the craftroom and the Create. Don't worry though, if you email isupport@provocraft.com and add your phone number to your email they will get it all working again. They talk you through the process and all will be well. Let me know how you get on.
      Take care

  9. I have a Cricut Create machine from Craft Superstore that was purchased in November last year. On Saturday I tried to link it to my Mac without success to be able to make use of the Cricut Craft Room design studio. I opened the design studio without any problems, went through the necessary procedure to link my machine but then absolutely nothing. On trying to cut I was asked to insert the cartridge which I did but the programme kept telling me to install the machine, which was already linked to the Mac. I now have a totally useless machine. Before trying to link it, when switching it on the display screen would display something like "insert cartridge" it now says "insert cartridge, link to Gypsy, link to Craft Room. If I insert a cartridge the whole machine freezes and is as good as useless. Without a cartridge in I am able to adjust the settings only. I have googled for a re-set which I have done several times without success. The machine and Mac must have been "talking" at some point for it display Craft Room and Gypsy.

As it's less than a year old it should be under warranty. Can you please advise me of what to do with it to at least be able to use cartridges again?

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Many thanks

  11. I am both sorry to hear and at the same time pleased to hear that it is not a stand alone problem as I thought I may have done something wrong when linking and syncing to the Cricut Craft Room. But the problems that Denise Nichols has experienced is so very similar to mine (even with the display of Craft Room and Gypsy) it must be a Cricut problem. I will indeed let you know how I get on, and hopefully my Cricut will be up and running again very soon, otherwise, like Denise, it will be useless.
    Thanks for the info Mel,
    Regards,
