News of an advanced master class is great, but is this going to be available to view any other way? I lose the channel after 6:00 p.m. and I do not have broadband so cannot watch it online. Not everyone has other ways of watching or recording. Thanks!
Hi Mel, having sync problems with my scanncut, update and calibrated, several times, get to 0 0 and try to cut but not right, contacted brother who promised a tech phone call, over a week later no phone call, so phoned again, lady said didn't know what I was talking about as this wasn't the right dept, but would look into it, still no reply, so contacted C&C. Who have arranged to have my machine picked up, on Monday, but stated that this will take up to 8 weeks to be looked at as they are busy, so asked for a refund, as machine not fit for purpose, where do we go when things go wrong, have had this since November, but for couldn't use till mid January. Christmas present, then visitors, so virtually a new machine.,can you help please,

Hi Mel, I spoke to you yesterday at the hobbycraft show about the issues I am having with my scanNcut. It is not always joining shapes accurately they can sometimes be off by 1mm or so and also the circles are not perfectly round, they look like I have cut them out with scissors by hand. You indicated the joining problem may be due to using free files that are not perfect, however it is doing this with the alphabets within the machine. You suggested calibrating it which I have done which makes no difference. As I do not remember having these problems when I first had it and I have recently put in a new blade, I have tried putting back in the original blade and then it does cut accurately again. The strange thing has been that when I changed from the original blade to the new blade I had to change the blade cut setting from 3 (with original) to 6 (for new) to cut the same card? Putting the original blade back in I now have to use that on 6 too? Not sure if that is relevant. Do you think as my old blade still cuts accurately that the issue might be a fault with my new blade? Have you come across this problem before? Is there anything I can do to fix this or is it just a matter of getting another new blade? If so how do I go about getting one, can I get a replacement from brother and how would I do that? Thanks Helen
Hi Mel Yesterday I was using my brother and my blade kept moving down as it was cutting from 5 to 4 before I realised what had happened I stopped it and re set it and made sure the blade etc was in correctly and it still kept happening. Any advice please? Hugs Jenny x
Hi Jenny Yes, take strip of sellotape the depth of the thread and place it arond the thread but not overlapping. Hope that makes sense. That will solve the issue. Hugs Melanie xxx
Hi Mel, Happy Easter. Just wondered how the DVD is coming along. My Sky box is groaning under the volume of Scan N Cut recordings so I'm hoping the DVD will let me free up some space :-) Kelly
