  3. What can I say, loved today's shows, a rare treat for me to be able to watch them live. I learnt so many things and even though Ive had my machine from the launch I hadn't updated it, today gave me the confidence to do so. You are a star Mel, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the Internet now so you can talk me through canvas! Happy days, Julie x

  4. I have really enjoyed watching your shows the last couple of days. You say that everything is a shape and there are lots of things you can make yourself which I totally agree with but I don't want to get into any copyright issues! For example Crafters companion quilling flower dies I can see are just a shape and could be easily copied but is this copyright as they designed it in the first place or because I wouldn't get the exact shape is it ok to make my own cutting file with a similar shape to make my own flowers? I hope you understand what I mean. Recorded all the up and coming shows so look forward to watching them. Thanks x

    1. Hi Tracy
As long as you make it from the shapes within the machine or shapes you have freehand drawn and scanned in then there isn't an issue.xx

  5. Hi Mel, loving the shows this week. I am now getting to grips with it a little more and enjoying seeing what I can make. I love the stitched edge flower you are showing. Would you be able to put a link to where you found it as I would love to have a go it is so cute! I am taping the shows so I can try your demos myself with you guiding me through them. Looking forward to your DVD, Love Bev xxx

  7. hi, please can you help me, i bought the scanncut in december 2014, and i managed to cut various shapes out with in straight away, however i could not use it again for a few months and when i used it a couple of weeks ago i could not get it to cut cleanly even though i was using the same card and settings, i have checked the blade has no bits by it but even simple shapes are not cut cleanly. please help as i am really struggling to use this now. thanks again, looking forward to your reply
