Hi Mel - love watching you on C&C, you are so inspiring. Watched and recorded all your shows this week and have watched some of them again. Beautiful demos as always and your attention to detail is second to none. Would love to attend some of your classes - where do you teach and when please? Look forward to your next shows. Take care, Karen x
Hello Mel, can you help me please. I have a cricut create and the cricut sampler catridge. When I try to cut the You're the best shape and wording, it always seems to mess up the last e. The card folds up on itself and the e does not cut. I have tried altering the speed and the depth of the blade, but with no success. Would the carrier, that you put the card onto have any bearing in the matter? Thank you Jackie
Hi Jackie Put your speed on full as if you reduce it it will make it worse. Then put your blade depth on full and reduce the pressure. Try that and let me know how you get on. If the mat is really old then make sure your card is pressed down really firmly and that it is free from bits.x
Hi Mel, Thank you for your advice. I will try this, probably next weekend now. I really enjoy all of your shows and I especially like the way all of your paper choices and colours are put together on your cards. I have to say the stampavie stamps do not do it for me, but there we go, not all of us can like the same thing. Have a fabulous week. Jackie
Morning Mel, I love these Frames that you have created they have given me an idea for a card I would like to make today. Great Blog Kind Regards From Sam x
Hi Mel, Just had to start following your Blog as I am reduced to tears every time I see you on C&C...(very quickly adding) not in a bad way :) It's just your absolute passion for what you do!!! Thanks for your tips on the copics, I nearly have all the set of Ciaos and although I loved them, watching the way you used them and the very subtle skin tones you use has made me appreciate them all over again. I was always unhappy with my skin tones but having followed your advice I have just coloured in the best skin with my Copics ever! Thank you Mel and look forward to your next appearance on C&C
Hello Dawn That is such a lovely email, but I don't want to make you cry!!!! I am really pleased that you have got your Copics out again. I use a Sakura Gelly Roll pen. I think create and craft sell them as a essentials kit. Enjoy your colouring Take care Melanie xxx
hello mel, waiting for hubby to get in from work, and thought it was time to say how much I have enjoyed the latest shows, have purchased the copics, and will try very hard to "master" them, there was a card you showed with a lady on a bike with flowing clothes, just my cup of tea and wondered where the image was from. sry this is anonymous but not a member of any at the moment,[doesnt mean I dont follow].

Mel,
ReplyDeletePlease may I ask what pen you use as a highlighter? It looks like a Sakura white pen, is it a Glaze?
Many thanks
