CRICUT RETREAT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!!

Good afternoon crafters
I am running a Christmas Cricut Retreat. It will be held at Mytton Fold Hotel in the lovely Ribble Valley in Lancashire from Monday the 28th of October to Wednesday the 30th.
You will learn how to get the most out of you Cricut and then make a stunning Christmas project.
All materials including two Cricut cartridges will be included in your course fee.
The cost of the retreat is £395 which includes your accommodation and all your meals plus a bag full of goodies to create your masterpiece.
It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or advanced Cricuteer, you will easily be able to complete the project.
Having run several of these before I know you will have a great time with lots of fun, laughter and of course chocolate along the way!!!!!
If you would like to attend please email me at melanieheaton@netscape.net.
I will then send you out a booking form to be completed and sent back with your deposit.
Places are limited to 24 delegates so if you want to attend please don't delay. However if I get enough response I will run a repeat retreat before the end of the year.
Take care
Love and hugs
Melanie xxxxx

Her are some pictures of the project we did earlier on this year. All the ladies below did a fabulous job and they all completed the project despite many of them doubting they would!!!!!!!!! Xxx

  3. How timely I was just about to ask you which Christmas Cricut cartridges are the most useful!
I now need to see if I can afford the break!

  4. Another one that would love to go especially as I seem to have lost my craft mojo right now and my Cricut is probably feeling a little unloved! However, the funds are not in my piggy bank unfortunately. Hope everyone who is lucky enough to go has an amazing time!

  5. Morning Mel, This sounds fantastic, I have a Cricut Create and it is still in the box, has never even been out of the box. Do you need to have already used the cricut to attend the workshop ??

Patricia believe me we have the best time and NO don't worry about knowing your machine inside out before you join us.....bye the time you go home you will be eager to set it up when you get home and enjoy seeing what you can get up too- I think we all felt the same at our first retreat and now we cant wait for our next get together, Hoping to see you there Anne.

  8. Thank you Mel and Anne for your replies. I was considering selling the machine, and when I saw Mel's post I thought I would ask the question. I have been on a 'day' class with a teacher in the past, and I felt that I was being left behind, and started to panic, as everyone else seemed to know exactly what they were doing and I was an absolute novice with that particular technique !!! ha ha. Thanking you.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  10. Mel do you know if c&c are going to feature more cricut cartridges soon. I feel a little bit left hanging after buying machines etc and now there is no follow-up. Will they do the same with Martha Stewart punches.
I don't mean to moan, but it is annoying.

  11. Hi Mel, I just received my 4 Day Deal this afternoon, and have already tried out all the circle punches, I also got the snowflake one too. I also tried them out on vellum and they were gorgeous. Loved all your shows, you really put all these tools through their paces, I've also managed to get some EK Success cutter bee scissors like yours too, and they do exactly what you said, and are sharp to the tip.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  12. Hi Mel, I bought the new criut after watching you demonstrate it on C&C. I couldn't wait for it to arrive as i love my expression and thought the new one would be as good. I dont have a problem with it having to be connected to the internet all the time, but it just doesn't work! I have donwnloaded all my cartridges and they dont show up, I haven't cut one thing yet and have had it for all of 10 days. I am thinking of returning it and giving up. Do you really rate the machine honestly or would I be better served getting a differant one. I would value your opinion.. Kind regards Lesley. x

  13. Hi Lesley
To be honest I haven't used one so I can't give you my opinion on it.
Sorry I can't be of any help.
I would suggest you contact Provocraft.
    Hugs

  14. Hi Mel, thanks for that. I have sent it back. Now need to decide which one to get to replace it. Would you recommend the Silouette or the Brother one. Would value your opinion. Thank you. xx

  15. Personally I love the Brother as I don't have to use it with a computer although i do use it to download cutting files but I can still use the machine independently...the cut is AMAZING.x

  16. Oh Mel thanks so much for getting back to me. My old faithful expression has let me down as well now and I have orders to fill. I will go and look up the Brother again and see if it will fill my needs. I am sure if you use it it will have all the necesary bits and pieces. Really appreciate your time. Are you online with tutorials on the Brother at all if I need help with it?
