Hi crafters
I have been asked if the manual for the Brother Scanncut is available on line rather than using the disc.....good question!
After a little investigation this is how I found it.
Log on to scanncut.co.uk
Click on support and service on the side bar
Click on solution centre
Then manuals
Operation manual
And download.
It works on my iPad so I am sure it should be ok on a laptop etc.
Hope this helps
Melanie x
P.S I have a couple of days to play this week so keep popping by to see if I have discovered anything new :) x Hee Hee Hee !
Hi Mel I printed the manualso as I don't need to go to computer to read it. So far haven't used it.
ReplyDeleteHi Mel, could you get Brother to clarify the situation for UK customers regarding registration? It seems that in the UK we cannot register our machines and have been advised by Brother to just, "Keep the receipt"! However, when asked how we would know when to update (as the machine is not connected to the internet to warn of updates automatically) Brother replied, "Have you registered your ScanNCut machine yet? By doing so you’ll receive free product updates, free product support, news about rebates, special offers and more delivered straight to your inbox. http://bit.ly/1oghNzd" It seems to me that this puts UK customers at a distinct disadvantage? Thanks for your help! Denyse x
ReplyDeleteHi Mel, thanl you for all the advice and info you give on this blog - it is very helpful. As you try different media, would it be possible to add them to your suggested cut settings list you did earlier please? I know that you were going to try Centura Pearl, and I have checked your blog regularly, (and John's), to see if it has appeared but doesn't seem to be there. PLEASE CAN YO ADVISE THE SETTINGS FOR CENTURA and MIRROR CARD? thank you so much. Crafty hugs, Beba x
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your crafting time Mel and thanks so much for all your help with my blade and holder x
ReplyDeleteAlso Mel, do you know when Create and Craft will be in stock for the pens and holders for the Scan N Cut?
ReplyDeleteA hard copy of the manual would be useful. Not all of us have a printer, not all of us have a computer that is useable in proximity to the Scan and Cut. I am not allowed to put an unknown disc {which has the manual} on it in the library computer to enable printing at a whopping 25p per A4 sheet.
ReplyDeleteBad mistake not to provide a proper book style manual.
Hi Deborah
ReplyDeleteI can photocopy mine for you if you like. If you want me to then email me at melanieheaton@aol.com and you can give me you're address.melanie x
