Sometimes I have to pinch myself and make sure that I am not day dreaming. This morning I get to go on create and Craft and do a Stampavie show and then I come back to the hotel and spend the day colouring in the new stamps for the February show. It a tough life lol!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope you all enjoyed the show this morning. Please don't forget the Cricut shows tomorrow at 12pm, 3pm and 5pm.
If you have any questions I can help with on the machine then please feel free to email in.
Take care

ReplyDeleteHi Mel where can I get a new Cricut E2 manual from? I did have a book that came with it but it seems to have gone walkabout! And I'm about to throw the BEEP BEEP BEEP Machine out the BEEP BEEP Window! Any ideas would be very welcome, even if its an online File that I can download like the Gypsy has many thanks. Hope tomorrow goes well for you.

Looking forward to tomorrow's shows! I heard you mention wanting to do more 'making' on the show and hope you get a chance to soon. :)
ReplyDeleteBernie - there are a few videos on the Cricut website http://www.cricut.com/expression2/ that you might find useful. (Basic how to use the machine, features and paper settings.) These might help get you started!
Hello Melanie, watched the Cricut show on IW yesterday and and despite my good intentions, had to buy the bundle of 6 cartridges, can't wait for them to arrive, so I can have a play. Looking forward to tomorrows shows. Love June
ReplyDeleteCant get on to the cricut website at the moment Soo however I may well peruse around U tube to see if I can see anything there but many thanks a manual would still be helpful though..xx

Hallo Mel,
ReplyDeleteI love your shows just one question, I have spellbinders and the grand calibur but as yet I have not got a Cricut,I like the look of the Black cricut ,although at the moment I do not have the money until payday a long month this month, and I am tempted but should I get the standard size or go for the 12x12 cutting mat .It is all so confusing and as I am primarily a card maker would the smaller Cricut be adequate.
Keep inspiring us with your fabulous designs,Happy Craftying Jacqueline
Bernie - if you email mary@bramwellcrafts.co.uk with your address I will send you my manual or ask at CHA for a new one for you.
ReplyDeleteZafira - I would advise you to buy Pick of the week at that price! It works with paper sizes 12 x 12" (30.48 x 30.48 cm) 12 x 24" (30.48 cm x 60. 96 cm) and you get an extra cartridge included to work with.
Soo - Yes, so do i waiting for new cartriges to arrive then we can plan new projects around them : )
Jacqueline - For the price I'd invest in Pick of the week item the fabulous Cricut Expression machine.
The Cricut Expression works with paper sizes up to 12 x 12" (30.48 x 30.48 cm) 12 x 24" (30.48 cm x 60. 96 cm), significantly expanding your creative possibilities.
I will try to reply more on Monday - having trouble with my laptop at the moment x
Hi Mel
ReplyDeleteI asked earlier in your blog but you may not have seen it. But I cant register my new gorgeous black bug because the website is only recognising addresses in the US and Canada. Any advise???
Oh and thank you so much for todays show. I was having problems with the paper ripping during cutting and you explained the pressure settings so well that I adjusted mine and it cut perfectly
THANK YOU xxxxx
Yes it must be a tough life for you! lol. I can't think of a better way to spend your day, craft and get paid for it! Enjoyed all the programmes, I recorded them all, love seeing your cards etc "live", oh and I loved the wreath made with the Flower Shoppe cartridge. It's a definate project for me... just need to get started! Thanks Mel xx
ReplyDeleteHi Melanie saw you on Friday on C&C, while I was away could not waite to get home to day to order the new black cricut expression. I have the small cricut that cuts 6"x12" but thought I would rob the bank to get the new black expression, was I was devastated to see it had sold out when I got home. Can we please have you on C&C a lot more I can watch you all day.Thank you Susan.x
ReplyDeleteHi Mel thanks for all the great info you do it best I bought a Expression 2 machine in Oct and the cake in dec(TRYING TO GET TO GRIPS WITH CAKE)
ReplyDeleteYou made me more confident with 2 but my problem
is I try the Nouveau 3D ladies but always seem to have the wrong sizes? when I layer them is everything sized correct
or do I have to alter size my self.
Thanks
Edith.
how do i register my cricut bought off c and c as postcard is in US and how do i clean and restick my mats please, regards Jayne
ReplyDeleteHi, Mel,
ReplyDeleteI bought the Pink Cricut Expression last summer from C&C and love it. I have scrapbooking workshops twice a month and use the machine a lot.
I watched your programmes last week and bought Elegant Edges. I have been trying to cut a 7" shadow eyelet shape using the Center Point button and then a 7.25" round the outside form a 12x12 piece of card but the machine says character won't fit! It is very frustrating. Please can you tell me where I'm going wrong.
Rosalie
I am not sure what you mean but try moving your blade to a more central position as to cut a 7.25" shape it will need at least 4" on every side of the blade. Let me know which page the shape is on if this doesn't work and I will try it out for you.

Hi Edith
ReplyDeleteGo into your settings on your machine ( spanner) and press the forward arrow until you get to the screen with Apply all on it (it looks like a world, check your book). Then make sure your machine is set so the Aa is highlighted. Then try a lady and it should work. let me know how you get on.
Take care

Hi Jayne, at the moment it is not possible to register your machine. Just keep a record of sale and receipt. You can wash your ats in warm soapy water and allow to air dry. You can also spray the back of your CARD with stick and spray.

Hi Mel
ReplyDeleteThanks it worked it was on the wrong one
I tried the lady again with some cheaper card before I used my good stuff
so cannot wait to do it.
